Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso is one if the poorest countries in the world, with the majority of the people subsistence farmers. They are highly dependant upon ‘the rains’ coming every year, but these often fail. Burkina is over fifty percent Muslim, but it also has thirty percent who practice traditional religions, so there is much need for outreach and church planting in Burkina.

Gaoua GAP

In the south of Burkina, working with the Dagaari people, GAP members would team up with Mission Africa missionaries helping with existing evangelism ministries: church planting, outreach in schools, helping to disciple new believers, and helping with agricultural development and food distribution. This is an exciting opportunity to serve in rural Africa, but only suitable for those who like a challenge. A-level French is required for serving in Burkina Faso.
